Cycle 3 task 1

Congrats again. You are about to read your first task. Read it carefully. It will be a  scenery making. I want this to blow me away, or almost blow me away. Put effort into this first task, as a first impression. This will determine whether you make it far or not. You wouldn't want to be out of the competition on the first task because of a silly mistake, or laziness, or little effort.


I would like to get to know you better. Modeling isn't all about pretty faces and good skill. Personality is a HUGE part of it. Your first task is to change your me-doll's face makeup, and hair according to either your personality, or something you would style it, if you were able to in real life. You can make your me-doll look like you, but that isnt a requirement, nor would it give you a better chance at passing. I want a beauty that expresses YOU. Please talk abotu this in the description (ex. if the hair was wild and all over the place you could say: "I chose this hair style to represent how I can be all over the place" or " I chose this Style because I would love to make my hair this way")

Then, you must go to the club sceneries and make a scenery and pose however you want to pose, reflecting you, and your personality( For ex, if i were waing hello, and please dont do this one, I could say that I was very friendly, or If I were petting a dog (dont do this one either) I can say that I love animals or that I am kind and gentle)

Welcome Newbies!

Congrats on making it in to Cycle 3! I appreciate all the effort put into the applications. Some blew me away. I know that only one of you will come out successfully, and I will be able to employ or graphic design, but I have hopes for ALL of you.I would like to start with A few tips for the road


- one person will be eliminated on each task on top of those who do not complete the task
-you have been chosen for a reason, if you dont want to participate, let me assure you that others would gladly take your part without question.please be dedicated to the competition, even if you only do this for fun
-most of the tasks will be to make sceneries, occassionally, it would be something else like taking a picture, or doing makeup
-after completing a scenery, please write a short descriptioin in the comments section
-many sceneries should be good eneugh to not be able to NEED a description (other than the few exceptions, like story telling ect.) So what this means, if you get a theme and you have the theme of love, I should be able to look at it, and know exactly what its about, love! So you can add two people hugging, with hearts around them
-please pose. If you dont know how to pose, try to catch on and get as much practice as possible on your own. The posing wont matter for the first few tasks, but later on in the game, it will count for A LOT
-make the sceneries in the club sceneries section, not in your personal ones
-if the sceneries glitch, please tell me in the descrtiption. We know how the sceneries glitch, so dont try to cover up a mistake by saying it glitched. To prevent glitching, I usually take a screenshot of the scenery before I save, so that if it does glitch, I can provide it through e-mail or link. Tell me if it glitches and you have a screenshot to show me, we can work it out ;]

The journey was long and courageous. Many tried to win, but only two made it there. One, which shined above all since the begining. Congrats to Terrarose/Jackie!! We loved your album!  There was posing, and it was formatted to be like a collage, it was also easy to get to, and it described yourself very well!!

Kourtney:

Your album had potential, but it wasn't what we were looking for. It talked about you, but the way it was organized made it a little less model Material. You are truly amazing, and very talented, but the only thingwas the way it was organized, and set up. Also, It did talk about you, but it said that you usually dont win comps, but you like to try anyway. Its a good thing to know, but I was looking at things like, I love to run, and maybe off to the side, a pose of you running, or making it look like you running.

Cycle 2 task 4 eliminations and task 5, final task

Congratulations for the three who made it this far, and to the two who did their task. Lets start with the weekly winner, Terrarose:

Great job! This scenery had lots of potential, and the posing was great as well as the clothing and the snow!!

Next comes Kourtney635. Yours was really good!The posing was slightly un-natural though.

Your task will be the hardest of all of A-list.model history, You MUST complete it, even if you dont finish in time, it HAS to be done, or forefit. You are to model in your album. Three whole pages, telling me about yourself. It could be anything, what you like to do, what sports you like to play, pets, family members, but it MUST be illustrating whatever you write, which should be about your life. I want lots of colour. Even the text counts in this one. If you are not willing to spare 3 pages in your album (it can be any 3, even the last ones; front page DOES count, just tell me which three) please come talk to me, adn we can work something else out, which I might add will be harder, and longer to do. It doesnt have to be in the same order, the pages, you just need to number them or tell me 'the ones with the green flowers at the bottom' or 'the front page, page 3, and page 9' those are just a few examples. I will give you a longer amount of time for this task. If you do not complete this task in time, I will continue to ask you to finish it, I wont judge on who has it done or not. I am looking for the quality of the work. If it looks sloppy that will take off from your "mark" which will decide who wins. This is due Dec 17. Good Luck ladies. Special new competition for all who arent competing.

I thought the club was starting to die out, so I wanted all of you to get  involved! For everyone who is not competing, and would like to take part in this competition for a chance to get into the next Cycle for FREE your task is to find unusual makeup or an outfit, for example, an outfit made up of only pillows, or hair made out of stars, or a face that looks like a butterfly, or even a celeb look alike, I would love to see it! You can either make it or find one.

Cycle 2 task 3 eliminations and task 4

I cant tell you how extremely disapointed I am in you guys. Whats going on? I gave you an extra week to do it, reminded you in your guestbooks, I shouldnt have to put up with this. Is the fact that you will be the covergirl of a magazine not motovational eneugh? This is ridiculous. So What I am going to start to do is the weekly winner of a task that few people have done will get an immunity that can be used at any time in this Cycle or any others that you compete in, you cant use it in the finals, or more than once. So without further ado, the winner is Kourtney, with princess of winter. I was amazed with all the detail put into your work and the scenery AND blog. heres what she did:

Congrats! Your new task will be a jolly good one! ( Yes I know, cheesy) Since the holiday season is rolling in, I think we should do something Winter related. Show what winter is all about, whethere its spending time with family, playing with friends, or even just about presents, I want you ot express it into a scenery. This is due on the third of December, and if its better than the current scenery queen, you will be crowned scenery queen and will have automatic placement in the next cycle. Cycle 2 Task 2 eliminations and Task 3

Everyone who did their task is safe, But I was very disapointed. Only two or three were what I was expecting as "good". For everyone else, things seemed out of place, the modeling looked extremely sloppy,  or they didnt pay attention to what I was asking for. Lets start with the weekly winner.

Terrarose, once again you have made it to the top. This is what I was looking for. Good posing, everything makes sense, and the advertising was really straightforward and clear.Wouldnt this look great slotted into a magazine??Kudos to you Jackie who was modeling Philosophy.

I wanted to do the seven deadly sins but we dont have 7 people :/ so instead Im bringing back the princesses(and prince )

technically I want something out of Lady ga-ga's closet. I will assign you a category and you are to dress up according to that category. I want accessories, lots and lots of accessories, I want you to try to define your theme as much as possible. For example of you had the green princess, you would dress up in a green dress, maybe use flowers, or plants as your accessories, and you would use a lot of green makeup. You need to DEFINE your theme. If I cannot look at it at guess what your theme is, its not good eneugh. heres an example:

What I want you to do is to make a BLOG ENTRY of a picture of your outfit and a small description. You are welcome to make a scenery, but it is not mandatory. I DO recommend you to, because it will give you extra credit. So you HAVE to do the blog entry, but its optional to do the scenery. :]

Cycle 2 Task 1 eliminations

Great job girls (and guy) The sceneries were fabulous! I LOVED them!A lot of you took into posing and saw that most of you were REALLY good! That being said, my expectations have raised by a lot. On a scale of one to one hundred on posing, I was expecting maybe 30 but now im expecting 50+ You have proven to me that you can pose, so now we can apply it, and make it wonderful.


Lets start with panel.


I want to start with our weekly winner: Terrarose. Your scenery showed great work and posing, the fashion was gorgeous, and theleaves and chipmunks added that extra spice! There was no flaw in the posing except for what you were wearing, and that was the tube top, but we haev spoken to you about that.

Koolboy11, you are safe.-we liked your scenery, but there were still some puzzle pieces missing, and the posing was off. Remember my expectations have gotten higher, so you need to step it up. Good luck :]

Prettycute- you are eliminated.We liked your scenery, but the posing was basic, we didnt know why there was a panda in the scenery, it was too vague, and it didnt show off fall fashion

need_your_lovin- I am disapointed. You are eliminated. your scenery was nowhere to be found.

For the girls (and guy) who ARE competing you will be advertising clothes. Stardoll clothes. I will let you chose the clothes you will wear but it will have to be from the stardoll store you have chosen. You are to be in a happy place, look happy, and pretty, people want to be like you, wear the clothes you are wearing, look as nice as you. I also advise to not go overboard with the makeup, it will take away from the clothes and they wont sell. Make a scenery INCLUDE POSING. It MUST include posing. your setting should be a park, a beach, movie theaters, NOT mall too distracting. You want something that will show off the clothes, not be distracting. Make sure for the clothes, to add nice belts, and bracelets, but make sure they are fmor the store too, if they are not, automatic elimination. 

FOR THE STORES

Come to me to reserve your store. You can pick any stardoll store and when you ahev picked one, come to me to reserve your spot, if someone has already chosen that store, you must chose another one. Message me, gb me, chat me anything works.

You all will be proceeding to the second modeling competition. Each competition is called a Cycle, we are in Cycle 2. Every Time I assign you soemthing new, that Is a new task. This is the first task of Cycle 2. You are to make a scenery in the club sceneries) of fall, and fall fashion. *****TIP TIP TIP***** USE POSING. If we are having trouble with deciding between two sceneries, it all comes down to posing. It is highly important to practice posing for the Higher top levels.

This Scenery is due on the 6th of November. If you all complete it before then, I will announce who passes earlier.  The first scenery that you make, is the one that is counted for, not the second one.

Cycle 1 Task 6 eliminations and Final task

After seeing the few contestants that remain, the two who DID do the task, have both been let in. The person who did not complete the task, was automatically elminated.

very good girls!! I loved the sceneries, very creative!! So for the two that remain, Kourtney635, and orhanget, this is the most importnant task of the Cycle. This one will require,a LOT of posing. Wht I would like you to do is do a scenery on a sport, any sport, you chose, but you have to be playing it in your scenery or getting ready to play, I wont tell you what I want, but just specify things around you, and a floor, sky, and appropriate gear, or uniform. NOTE if you are not posing, you are AUTOMATICALLY elminated. Best luck to the both of you. Whoever wins in this task  will become the model, the runner-up will be used as a back-up model, or an understudy.

second comp to get into Cycle 2

Okay this one is my FAV!!! Soooo Scenery Queen is back!!!

Our current Scenery Queen is lilcamilla queen with her leaf dress (on club homepage)


You are to make a scenery about  A-list.models.

heres what were looking for to beat the current scenery queen:

-Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving sort of thing
-POSING POSING POSING
-something that says A-list.models in it.




You dont have to do that, but thats what we generally want. If you can think of something better, go for it. So the scenery queen in Lilcamillaqueen. She holds the throne. You are trying to take it from her. IF you take the throne, you will AUTOMATICALLY be competing in Cycle two. AND your scenery will be on the homepage. AND you will be the scenery queen for Cycle 2. AND you will be in the A-list.models Hall of Fame. AND you will be asked for help in judging ONE task in Cycle 3... convincing?? GOGOGO!!! Good luck everyone!!

Congratulations to all who DID do their task. I am very appreciative of your work, and that you take it seriously. SOO  since there were teams instead of every man for himself, there was no task winner, BUT instead we chose one person to continue competing and one person to go home. congratulatinos to those who remain. Your new task is to make a commercial of something, I perfer for you to use the comic strip scenery so you can make it into kind of a movie, but you can really do anything. Also I will assingn you each a topic, you can take it anywhere.

Ex.
Lets say the theme was a makeup commercial but i chose to make it a waterproof makeup commercial

First box, outside of a party, or house, with fancy clothes  on, but all smeared makeup, in the rain

Next box, Says before and after angeline waterproof makeup (random thing I made up)

Last box, shows you in the rain smiling with no makeup running.

-we liked your scenery, but the bricks after a while we assumed it was food , then we didnt like how the dog had his food, yet he still wanted soe of your food, we would also like some posing. we Cant stress taht eneugh Thank you

unfortunately: Msjrdn 2: you are eliminated this task. Your scenery just didnt cut it, Your heads were in an awkward position, and you didnt have any posing, the background you chose was a pattern, and I dont like patterns, because it loks unnatural. Thank you, but you are no longer competting in cycle one.We hoped you have fun, and you have made it far, so you should be proud.


The new task is that you will be partnered up together. You will get a colour as a team. You are to maek seperate sceneries, but you will be competing, your scneries HAVE to have posing, and HAVE to have all of that colour, no other colour, (well you can but the majority has to be your colour) one of the two will be eliminated.

FIRST COMP TO GET IN CYCLE 2 (easy easy easy!!!)

Okay! Im REALLLY excited because I want to get the cycle 2 Bunch ready while Im doing cycle one.. yes, a bit crazy, but If you you know me, I try a LOT of Stupid things. I think im going to have four or five people entered in Cycle 2 JUST by comp. The first comp is going to be an inviting comp (no not for OUR club, I think were doing good on our own) But for our buddy Blogspot *drumroll please* Emma and Lizz Stardoll Guru!!
